Kristy Jones

Association Manager, Rapid City

Kristy, a 25-year bowler, is past association manager of the Rapid City USBC, has served on the Rapid City board of directors and was RC YABA board secretary-treasurer. She is a youth coach and past Tournament Manager of the SD State Pepsi Tournament. Kristy is currently Tournament Manager for the SD State Women's and SD Youth Scratch Tournaments. Kristy is a member of the Rapid City Hall of Fame and SD State USBC Hall of Fame.

Carol Rettkowski-Gregg

1st Vice President, Brookings

Carol has been active in bowling for more than 40 years, serving as president of the Brookings Association and was instrumental in its transition to the Brookings USBC Association. She was District 2 director with the SD Women’s Bowling Association.  She also served as director and president of the SD State Women’s 600 Club.  Carol is a member of the Brookings Hall of Fame and SD USBC Hall of Fame.

Brandon Dooley

2nd Vice President, Aberdeen

A bowler since he was six years old, Brandon has been involved with all facets of the sport, bowling in junior league and the ESD Traveling League. Brandon owns 2 Pro Shops, 1 in Huron and 1 in Aberdeen. He also served on the Huron USBC board of directors for two years. Brandon is a Silver Level Certified Coach.

Bill Ficken

District 1 Director, Rapid City

Bill has been a member of the Rapid City Bowling Association and USBC for 34 years, Bill serves on the Rapid City Board of Directors with Hall of Fame and youth roles. He is a member of the Rapid City USBC Hall of Fame.

Chris Henrichsen

District 2 Director, Pierre

Chris has been bowling for 30 years and is coach of the Pierre Traveling Team.  He is youth representative on the Pierre USBC board.  He is a member of the Pierre USBC Hall of Fame.

Danita Hopkins

District 2 Director, Chamberlain

Danita started bowling in 1991. She has served as a youth delegate for the Missouri River Bowling Association for over ten years. She has been a coach for the Chamberlain youth program for 25 years. Going into her fourth year, Danita is the ESD youth travel league bowling coach for Chamberlain. She is an inductee of the SD State USBC hall of Fame and the Chamberlain Missouri River Bowling Hall of Fame. She is a Bronze certified coach.

Kris Polreis

District 3 Director, Mitchell

Kris has been involved in bowling since age 5. He participated in youth bowling in Mitchell, as well as ESD travel team. He took over as Association Manager of the Mitchell USBC Association in 2016. Kris also became coach of the Mitchell ESD travel team in 2017.

Shane Harriman

District 3 Director, Yankton

Shane started bowling at the age of 5 in Yankton where he grew up.  He participated in several youth leagues and tournaments, bowling all throughout high school. Shane has reignited his love of bowling, after moving back to his hometown, and is currently bowling at Yankton Bowl where he is a league secretary.  He is excited to join the SD USBC Board of Directors.

Vern Meyers

District 4 Director, Aberdeen

Vern has served 15 years as a director for the Aberdeen USBC.  He assisted in the merger of the Aberdeen BA and WBA.  Vern has been inducted into the Aberdeen and South Dakota Hall of Fame.

Scott Struss

District 4 Director, Watertown

Bowling since he was 8, Scott is a Bronze Certified Coach and was instrumental in sanctioning the youth leagues. He assisted in the merger of Watertown adult and youth leagues. He is a past president of the men’s association and is the current manager of the Watertown USBC Association.

Sarah Brust

Open Director, Aberdeen

Sarah started bowling at age 7 in the Huron association and was on the ESD travel team. After high school graduation, she moved to Aberdeen where she has been a member of the bowling association for 18 years. Sarah served on the Aberdeen Women's board for 8 years and is now a member of the Aberdeen Area USBC board of directors. She has held various league officer positions throughout the years.

Dean Bruinsma

Open Director, Clear Lake

Dean has been bowling for 28 years.  He has been involved in the Clear Lake Association serving as President, City Tournament Manager, Youth Coaching and Delegate to the SD USBC.  He enjoys bowling in leagues and local, state, PBA 50 and national tournaments.

Tim Luken

Open Director, Pierre

Tim has been bowling for the past 50 years.  He was involved in Gettysberg Bowling Association and is currently on the board for the Pierre USBC Bowling Association.  He has been a delegate for the past 10 years.  Tim regularly bowls in 3 leagues as well as local, SD State, PBA 50 and national tournaments.  Tim is very passionate about bowling.

Jason Wierenga

Open Director, Sioux Falls

Jason is a lifelong resident from Sioux Falls. Since the age of 6 his passion for the sport of bowling has kept him involved even now as his skills and time to participate have diminished. He regularly bowls in 2 leagues as well as local, state and national tournaments. He was elected to the Sioux Falls Regional USBC in 2010 as a Director and served as the 1st Vice President for the association since 2016 and is currently President of the Sioux Falls Regional USBC. He was a delegate to the National USBC convention in 2018 and 2019.

Matt Scott

Open Director, Milbank

Matt started bowling in his hometown lanes in Plankinton, SD, but really took off with league bowling in college at Tommy Lanes in 1998.  As he moved farther north to Milbank, he's been a regular for many years since. He is now the association manager in Milbank.

Patty Fanter

Open Director, Rapid City

Patty has coached youth bowlers for more than 25 of her 30+ years of bowling in South Dakota and North Dakota. She has served with the Rapid City and SD youth organizations and is a Bronze Level Certified Coach. She was a member of the Rapid City USBC Transition Board and SD USBC Transition Board.  She is manager for the SD State USBC Senior, Mixed and Youth Tournaments.  Patty is an inductee into the Rapid City Hall of Fame and the SD State Hall of Fame. She has received the SD Youth Service award for Coach of the Year and Promoter of the Year.
